AWSNAP

Parents Council

AWSNAP–Asheville Waldorf School Neighbors and Parents serves as the hands of the school with the intention of catalyzing and organizing active parent involvement in the life of the school.  They focus on the community development through interconnectedness, involvement and dedication. AWSNAP elects one parent representative for a two year term. This representative also sits on the Anchor Circle, the group that forms policies for our school. The financial model of lower-cost community based private education depends on the active participation of parents who contribute generously their volunteer hours to committees, workdays, fundraising and planning festivals.
