Parent Participationsuperadmin2018-07-06T16:50:21-04:00
Parent involvement is one of the pillars of strength of a Waldorf school community, as it is directly linked to the school’s health and stability. A culture of contribution allows for success. Parent participation is directly linked to the children’s success in school. It demonstrates to the child that their education is important. The shared work builds connections and relationships, allowing parents to showcase their talents all while deepening the bond of the community.
Asheville Waldorf School is always looking for help around the campus and in the classrooms. Parents are welcome to offer their time beautifying the grounds and building, assisting in the office, providing ideas and action for marketing and fundraising, serving on the Board or a committee, attending outreach events, assisting with festivals, participating in school events and providing for the personal needs of each classroom.
