Elizabeth pours these into crafting a rich and enlivening learning environment for her students. She believes that growing the capacity to “create out of one’s own forces” is paramount, and seeks daily to evoke the love of learning in her students. Passionate about the Waldorf curriculum, Elizabeth meets the unfolding destiny of the children with curiosity and strives to find ways to nourish the indwelling spirit of each child as
challenges and growing strains arise. Elizabeth hails from Texas and New Mexico, and came to Asheville 20 years ago. Her varied interests have called her to travel in Japan, India, the Yukon, and South America. She enjoys tinkering, sewing, hiking, gardening, bee keeping, collecting wood to build simple furnishings and listening to stories.
